These terms cover your purchase and use of Exact Words and The Documentation Vault. By buying, you agree to them.

What you're buying

A personal licence to digital documents. You may read them, print them, and use them in your own work, including with the teams you manage inside your employer's organisation.

You may not resell, republish, redistribute, or share the files publicly, and you may not repackage the contents into a product or training you sell. If you'd like to use them across a wider organisation, email us and we'll sort out a fair arrangement.

Delivery

Delivery is digital and immediate. Your download link is sent to the email address you enter at checkout. If it doesn't arrive or doesn't work, email support@exact-words.com and we'll get the files to you.

Refunds

They are not legal advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer or your HR department. Employment law varies by country, state, and employer policy. No warranty on outcomes

The material is supplied as it is. We wrote it carefully and we stand behind it with the guarantee above, but we do not warrant that it is accurate for your jurisdiction, current with the law, complete for your situation, or that using it will produce any particular result in a conversation, a performance process, or a dispute. Judgement about what to say to a real person in a real workplace stays with you.

Consumers in the European Union

Where the EU right of withdrawal applies, you would normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because this is digital content delivered immediately, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that this ends the statutory withdrawal right once delivery begins. Our own 30-day guarantee above is longer and applies regardless.

Changes and availability

We may update the product, these terms, or the price of future purchases. Changes never alter the terms of a purchase you've already made. We may occasionally need to take the site offline for maintenance.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

If part of these terms doesn't hold

If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is treated as replaced by the closest enforceable version of what it was trying to do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Austrian law. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence are unaffected.
